Background in What is Found In A Business Plan


this component provides information on the company's history, along with affiliates and predecessors, if any.  Apart fro  from the company's history it also details the company’s management and operating policies, officers and directors, performance history and goals, products and services, advertising and marketing strategy, competition and trends in the industry, intellectual property, key real and personal property, suppliers and distributors, customer demographics and any other relevant information that would be material to the investor.

The official name of the business, as well as the address of the company, should be mentioned in the Company description. In a company description the type of business whether it is a sole proprietorship or LLC, or partnership or corporation, should also be specified, along with management teams its profile and designation.

Te company should describe the industry in which it operates, which will provide investors with some insight as to how the company business fits in. The industry trends, growth prospective and outlooks as well as projections of the future should be also be included.

The mission statement of the company should be mentioned in which the purpose of the company in a couple of sentences should be described so that investors who are interested in investing in the securities of the company could get an idea as to where the business is heading.
